Coming Soon: A new Sem-Lok “Striated” Panel Profile is planned to be added to the SEMCO Metal Roofing Offering!

The concealed fastened series of standing seam panels offers a width of 16″ profile design and now “Striated” to create interesting shadow lines across the length of the panel.

This new product expands the current product offering for Southeastern Metals, Standing Seam Metal Roofing Panel Systems to include an optional “striated” version to the previously available flat or ribbed product profiles.

Southeastern Metals & Dot Metals, roofing products have been evaluated for compliance with the wind loads specified in the International Residential Code (IRC) and the International Building Code (IBC). This confirms that the metal roofing panel systems have been tested, evaluated and approved for use in HVHZ, high velocity hurricane zones. These products are also currently listed and validated to the latest Building Code for the Texas Department of Insurance, Florida Building Code and Miami Dade County Building codes.

The Aluminum Ridge Vent, RV 10 and also the Weather Vent both are now also approved by the Florida Building Codes latest version for use inside and outside the High Velocity Hurricane Zones.

ARCAT, a major publisher of building product information has developed and posted on their site, data rich AutoDesk Revit BIM objects for Southeastern Metals. Anyone can use these objects at no charge. In addition to creating accurate graphics, ARCAT and SEMCO have added appropriate product data to each object, saving architects and engineers a significant amount of time doing data entry and product research. All of SEMCO’s objects, graphics and content, are uniform and modifiable for ease of use. In addition to product information, ARCAT has embedded links in the objects to SEMCO’s CSI 3-Part specs.

SEMCO and ARCAT uphold the belief that high quality graphics are only the tip of the building information modeling iceberg, and it is the limitless amount of information held within the model that is driving the AEC community to adopt parametric software platforms such as Revit.
